Part Time Vacancies in OIA (Office of International Affairs) Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta

The Office of International Affairs, Universitas Gadjah Mada is seeking for best candidates to fill the following part time position:

 

1. Program Coordinator for Project Accounting

Job Description:

  • Assist in recording all financial transaction and setting up monthly report to the Head of the Office.
  • Assist in the office’s fund-management, including funds related to scholarship schemes, projects, and annual budget.
  • Perform other assignment as instructed.

2. Program Coordinator for Internal Coordination

Job description:

  • Act as the office’s representative in coordinating with Faculties and Units within the university.
  • Perform tasks such as managing the flow of information from and to the Faculties and Units.
  • Assist regional Program Coordinators in following up activities related to international cooperation.
  • Perform other assignment as instructed.

3. Incoming Mobility Counselor

Job description:

  • Provide assistance in non-academic issues to incoming students, faculty members, and researchers (incl. accommodation, transportation, cultural trip & daily life).
  • Organize the University Orientation for Foreign Students (UOFS) in the beginning of academic year.
  • Assist the implementation of student exchange programs, in coordination with respective Faculties and Units of the university.
  • Assist in the operation of International Student Center.
  • Responsible in producing the University’s Guide Book for incoming students, faculty members, and researchers.

4. Outgoing Mobility Counselor

Job description:

  • Provide assistance in non-academic issues to outgoing students, faculty members, and researchers (incl. managing the accommodation, transportation, cultural adaptation & daily life abroad).
  • Organize regular Pre-Departure Briefing every semester.
  • Assist the implementation of student exchange programs, in coordination with respective Faculties and Units of the university.
  • Update database on outgoing mobility and set up annual report.
  • Monitor the progress of students, faculty members, and researchers abroad, and collect their reports for administrative purposes.

 

Requirements

  1. Male/Female, Minimum 2nd year students from Universitas Gadjah Mada (copy of student card required);
  2. Willing to work part time (approx. 20 hours in a week);
  3. GPA > 3.00 (academic transcript required);
  4. Having excellent English with TOEFL score > 500, other foreign language is an advantage (certificate required);
  5. Having international experience abroad is an advantage (Attach certificate if any);
  6. CV with photograph (4×6 size);
  7. Short essay to share your motivations, ideas on how to develop international cooperation of UGM, and your proposed programs related to your applied position (not more than 750 words);
  8. Having strong commitment and high initiative, hard worker, and able to work in a team.
